It was a reasonble place to stay the night. it was clean and the beds were comfortable. the rooms were reasonably large. It is an older facility but still in good shape.
The parking lot is very crowded. Many people did not park in front of their room due to lack of space. Not sure what the solution is but it was tight.
My experence in Knights Inn is very good. Rooms is big, with AC, clean. Lobby is like a big living room. When I check out the next day, I have to spend 3 hours in the lobby, It's comfortable.
Check in time is 3:00 PM,Check out time is 11:00 AM. That's too early.
The room is big enough for a solo traveller. The bed is comfy. Room is clean and pleasant to stay in. The two front desk personnel were friendly and accommodating.
There is no water heater for coffee or tea inside the room. No cups provided, either for such. There's no drinking water too during "free breakfast". Breakfast is limited to bread with butter and jam, and waffle. No egg, no sausage or bacon or whatsoever. Additional $1 per day is charged for the safety box provided in the room, which I never used at all.
Clean, close to campus and inexpensive
Older rooms / furniture, bathroom was clean but obviously old (grout was worn, and tile was old.)
Clean room, good bed, good tv, and excellent shower If you expect the Hilton , stay at the Hilton.
This was my first time in College Station. The reason for our trip was for a new student conference. Knights Inn was nice for our budget. Since we were at the university most of the day, it was perfect for a good nights rest.
The warm welcome and personnel attention given by the receptionist.
It was fine...I love the light crispy waffles!
Not a whole lot. The girl that checked us in was extremely professional and very accommodating.
We didn't like anything about it. First, the website was misleading. It states that they are pet-friendly, which they really aren't. It doesn't state the charge up front. I was extremely tired and to have to pay an additional $40.00 for my pets was ridiculous. Also, when I thought about going somewhere else because of the pet situation I was told that I would be charged for the room anyway. The breakfast stunk! The man that was there in the morning was extremely rude and very grumpy. When we walked in he didn't say a word, not even the whole time we were in there to get coffee and we left without him even saying anything. The entire visit was a nightmare!
Near all the amenities I was in College Station for
Laundry facility on site, however I they were locked when I needed to use it.
The girl at the front desk was very nice. Even though she was swamped with guests at such a late hour and after obvious computer problems, she never lost her cool. She was just as nice and professional to the first guest as she was to her last. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay there again!!
Room was clean and in good condition. Bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was crowded and spartan, with limited selection. Juice was watery. Bathroom accumulated moisture with no provision, such as an exhaust fan, to expel the moisture.
It was a pretty decent room for the very cheap rate we paid. If you are just looking for a cheap quick place to stay the I would recommend this motel but if you plan on staying in the room quite a bit, I would not recommend it.
Although we selected a non-smoking room, we would occasionally get a strong smoke smell that came into our room. We figured out that it was because out non-smoking room was placed above a smoking room and therefore the smoke rose into our room. Although it was a very cheap price, we will be looking else where on our next visit to college station just because we decided we will be willing to spend a little extra money for a nice room.
It was surprisingly comfortable, very happy with the free Wi-Fi. Enjoyed my Cinnamon-Apple oatmeal in the morning. Very convenient to the event I was attending.
Hotel looks very tired. They clearly are trying to offer many of the amenities that larger chains offer (in room safe, free WiFi, free breakfast). But it really does need a facelift.
It was pet friendly
Bed more comfortable than expected, but bedding was old and shabby
It was close to the area I was working in. It was easy to find and had good access to and from the interstate. The staff was nice and polite.
The shower stall had some mold in the tile, but the tub and other areas were clean. The mattress was a bit lumpy.
